The sequel to Fast Five, was green lit before Fast Five was even in theaters, but now we are getting major news.
Jason Statham, Hollywood’s current best action star may be the next star to lead the series? Does that mean no more Paul Walker and Vin Diesel?
Fast Five was great, I loved it and it is one of my favorites of 2011, the addition of Dwayne Johnson was perfect, and the transition from street racing to heist film was smooth.
Now reports are coming out that with Statham the franchise will be moving to a European locale, and two films, currently being dubbed Fast Six and Fast Seven back-to-back.
Statham hasn’t confirmed this report, and he is currently in the process of shooting The Expendables 2.
All we know for sure is that sequels are coming, but Statham would be a hell of an addition.
