Trailer: The Bourne Legacy

Sign me up. Right now. I’m in.

The biggest question when it was reported that the “Bourne” series would continue sans Matt Damon, was who would replace him, and would it even come close to being as good?

And with this new theatrical trailer, I think we can say, at glass shattering volume, ABSOLUTELY, this looks like it’s going to be amazing.

Jeremy Renner is leading the way, and seems to fit like a glove. His nemesis will be played by Edward Norton, and the new female lead is Rachel Weisz.

The film also stars Albert Finney, Joan Allen, Scott Glenn, Stacy Keach, and Oscar Isaac.

The Bourne Legacy hits theaters on August 3rd, 2012.

Synopsis:

The narrative architect behind the Bourne film series, Tony Gilroy, takes the helm in the next chapter of the hugely popular espionage franchise that has earned almost $1 billion at the global box office: The Bourne Legacy.  The writer/director expands the Bourne universe created by Robert Ludlum with an original story that introduces us to a new hero (Jeremy Renner) whose life-or-death stakes have been triggered by the events of the first three films.

Trailer: Skyfall

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond, in the next installment of the 007 saga in Skyfall.

A new teaser trailer debuted just now, and I must say, it doesn’t look or feel like a 007 movie at all.

The positive is the short snippets within the teaser do a good job not to give anything away, we don’t even see the villain of the film, Javier Bardem.

Skyfall stars Bérénice Marlohe, Judi Dench, Naomie Harris, Ben Whishaw,Helen McCroy, Albert Finney, and Ralph Fiennes.

You can catch Skyfall in theaters on November 9th, 2012.

Synopsis:

Daniel Craig is back as James Bond 007 in Skyfall, the 23rd adventure in the longest-running film franchise of all time.  In Skyfall, Bond’s loyalty to M (Judi Dench) is tested as her past comes back to haunt her.  As MI6 comes under attack, 007 must track down and destroy the threat, no matter how personal the cost.

First Look – Skyfall

Bond is back.

The long awaited follow up to Quantum of Solace, Daniel Craig reprises his role as James Bond in a new film surrounding the national man of mystery, called Skyfall.

Trailer: The Bourne Legacy

“There was never just one” that’s the tag line for the new saga.

When news broke that The Bourne franchise will continue without Matt Damon leading the way, fans were up in arms. Damon had done such a stellar job creating this indestructible super-freak experiment, the franchise was a monster hit.

Damon said he would no longer be doing the films, so in came Jeremy Renner.

Today we get our first trailer for The Bourne Legacy and let me tell you, it looks like we won’t skip a beat.

Starring with Renner will be Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Oscar Isaac, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, Stacy Keach and Scott Glenn.

With Renner as the new “Bourne-Like” assassin, and Norton as the villain, this has the right formula to reinvigorate the series.

For The Bourne Legacy, Renner joins fellow series newcomers Rachel Weisz, Edward Norton, Stacy Keach and Oscar Isaac, while franchise veterans Albert Finney, Joan Allen, David Strathairn and Scott Glenn reprise their roles.

You can catch The Bourne Legacy August 5th, 2012.

First Look: Jeremy Renner in The Bourne Legacy

Days ago I posted that Matt Damon hand picked Jeremy Renner to continue the Bourne series, and as The Bourne Legacy is underway, we got our first look at the new star.

It’s clear he has the look.

The franchise entry isn’t so much a reboot, but a separate story that takes place in the same Bourne universe. Tony Gilroy, who wrote the first three Bourne flicks, is the director, and Renner will be supported by Rachel Weisz, Oscar Isaac, Joan Allen, Albert Finney, and Edward Norton as the villain.

The Bourne Legacy opens August 3rd, 2012.
