Trailer: Les Miserables

One of the most successful plays in Broadway history is coming to the silver screen, again.

Directed by Tom Hooper, (The Kings Speech) Les Miserables just from the look of the trailer seems like it’ll have a strong presence at the award show, from the costumes to the cinematography to the music.

Les Misérables stars Anne Hathaway as Fantine, Hugh Jackman (Jean Valjean), Russell Crowe (Javert), Amanda Seyfried(Cosette), Eddie Redmayne (Marius), Sacha Baron Cohen(Thénardier), and Helena Bonham Carter (Madame Thénardier).

Synopsis:

Set against the backdrop of 19th-century France, Les Misérables tells an enthralling story of broken dreams and unrequited love, passion, sacrifice and redemption–a timeless testament to the survival of the human spirit. Jackman plays ex-prisoner Jean Valjean, hunted for decades by the ruthless policeman Javert (Crowe) after he breaks parole. When Valjean agrees to care for factory worker Fantine’s (Hathaway) young daughter, Cosette, their lives change forever.

Chloe Grace Moretz star will grow brighter with this film. A starring, and risque performance in Hick as a teen who runs away from home to Las Vegas.

Moretz stars alongside Blake Lively, Eddie Redmayne, Alec Baldwin, and Rory Culkin.

Trailer: My Week With Marilyn

Michelle Williams is back in another powerful role as see portrays the icon, Mayilyn Monroe.

The biopic follows details a week in the life of the golden age bombshell — from the perspective of writer Colin Clark, then a young man just getting his start in the film industry. Clark was tasked with chaperoning Monroe around Britain, while her new husbandArthur Miller was out of the country, during the filming of ‘The Prince and the Showgirl.’ As the story progresses, Clark (and the audience) will learn more about the starlet’s complicated relationship with the spotlight.

Along with Williams, the film stars Eddie Redmayne, Kenneth Branagh, Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper, Emma Watson, and Julia Ormond.

My Week With Marilyn hits theaters on November 4th, 2011.

First Look – Michelle Williams as Marilyn Monroe

Michelle Williams is climbing the Hollywood charts, and is about to get even hotter.

She is currently shooting a film where she stars as the icon, Marilyn Monroe.

The film is dubbed My Week with Marilyn, Set behind the scenes of production on Monroe’s film The Prince and the Showgirl, the movie is told from the point of view of a young production assistant (played by Eddie Redmayne), in charge of keeping an eye on Monroe during production.

The picture is very interesting, the color contrast, almost like the brightest lights shine on Monroe, this is a must see.

My Week With Marilyn will come to theaters November 4, 2011 and will also star with Judi Dench, Dominic Cooper and Emma Watson.
