Gary Oldman Briefly Comments on The Dark Knight Rises

Much like Tom Hardy a couple weeks ago, who spoke about his character Bane, Gary Oldman in an interview yesterday gave tiny comments on the film.

“The Dark Knight Rises” may be the most anticipated tree-quel of all trilogies, and since the announcement of the movie a long time ago, we are still very much in the dark (no pun intended) about the film.

The comment everyone has been tossing around is Nolan can’t possibly top “The Dark Knight” and the script or ideas just won’t be as good.

Gary Oldman, like Tom Hardy and Wally Pfister a month ago, disagrees.

The man who plays Commisoner Gordon, spoke with IMDB’s Steve Weintraub and told him that he has spoken to director Christopher Nolan about the story and it is

“Fantastic!”

Then Oldman added,

“You think you can’t top The Dark Knight and I think he may have.”

Seems like the cast thus far are all sold on this being the best movie of the three. It’s pretty obvious the fans are excited and hope the film walks the walk, because it certainly talks the talk.
