Megan Fox, A Comedy Star?

That’s the potential idea Judd Apatow has for his next film.

Megan Fox is in negotiations to star alongside Paul Rudd and Leslie Mann in Apatow’s latest project for Universal.

Rudd and Mann are going to be reprising their characters  from Apatow’s “Knocked Up” in a new story by the comedy laden Director.

What Apatow has in mind for Fox’s role is being kept a big secret.

While this may not be a good idea on the surface, as Fox is a yearly contender for the Razzies award for Worst Actor/Actress, you have to put some faith in the script and Apatow’s direction.

Now we wait and see.

Trailer: Beautiful Boy

It’s very rare to watch a trailer and be moved severely by it. Well this happened with the trailer for “Beautiful Boy.”

The innocent title gives way to a very serious film, that could be one of the most powerful in decades.

“Beautiful Boy” starring Michael Sheen (Unthinkable, Frost/Nixon) and Maria Bello (A History of Violence) who play parents in a normal neighborhood and live normal lives. Their world gets turned upside down when they find out their son who is in college, was involved in an on-campus shooting. It gets worse, they later find out it was indeed their son who planned and executed the shooting. The film then deals with the two trying to live their lives following the aftermath of this incident.

In the trailer alone you can see how moving Sheen and Bello are. It’s a very touchy subject with Columbine, Virginia Tech and unfortunately more school shootings in recent memory.

The trailer though was hard to find at first, as it was not on the movie’s website, nor was it on the IMDB page, which is very strange for a film that originally had a 2010 release date.

Anchor Bay Film purchased the rights to this film back in September of 2010 so hopefully we see this film soon.

Here is the very intense and chilling trailer.
