Since hearing about the project getting the green light a handful of months ago, I picked up the book, by Jordan Belfort, and began reading through it.
With Martin Scorsese set to direct, and Leonardo DiCaprio, Jonah Hill to star, more big names are being recruited.
The story revolves around Belfort, who will be played by DiCaprio, a young hotshot in the finance game who makes millions with his firm Stratton Oakmont, all while living hard and partying harder.
Recently Kyle Chandler has jumped aboard to play the FBI Agent who builds a case against Belfort.
Now, fresh off his Oscar win for Best Actor in The Artist Jean Dujardin is being courted to play the role Jean-Jacques Handali, a suave Swiss banker involved in laundering illicit funds for Belfort.
This would be one of the first, and few english-language films for Dujardin.
Production starts this August in New York City.
